Radiologic Technologist — Primary Care Blue Ridge

Duke Primary Care Blue Ridge (3633 Harden Rd, Suite 100, Raleigh, NC 27607) is hiring a full-time Radiologic Technologist, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. This role is eligible for a $15,000 commitment bonus and $3,000 in relocation assistance. Duke Primary Care Blue Ridge is a family practice with on-site lab and X-ray, serving children, teens, and adults across family, geriatric, internal medicine, pediatrics, and primary care. What you will do: - Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated anatomical areas; adjust exposure techniques per radiation safety guidelines - Explain x-ray procedures to patients and position patients for each anatomical view using positioning aids and protective equipment as needed - Monitor accessory equipment and assist physicians with fluoroscopic and special radiographic procedures - Process images for optimal quality and match with paperwork for interpretation; charge procedures and modify orders per protocol - Critique film quality (positioning, technique, collimation); use the Image Archival System - Orient new technologists and support training for DUHS-affiliated radiology technology programs - Perform related duties as assigned Required qualifications: - Completion of an AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology - ARRT certification - BLS certification - New graduates and experienced technologists welcome DUHS offers career growth within imaging services, including a clinical ladder.
