MRI Technologist I

At Houston Methodist, the MRI Technologist I completes routine diagnostic MRI procedures, including moderate-complexity exams with progression toward higher-complexity work. Provides direct assistance to physicians, delivers exceptional patient care, and follows MRI safety and exam standards. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and special MRI exams; assessing patient needs; optimizing care, image quality, and patient experience; assisting physicians with procedures and sterile technique; and providing clear explanations to patients and families. Works as part of a direct patient care team in a positive, team-focused environment. Education: Graduate of an approved program. Experience: None required for Technologist I. Required certification: BLS through AHA and one of ARMRIT, ARRT, ARRT-N, ARRT-MR, ARRT-SON, CMRT, or CNMT. Location: 6565 Fannin St., Houston, TX 77030. Full-time night shift.
