About the Role UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies is seeking a Mammography Technologist for its breast diagnostic center at the South Medical Office Building in Loveland, Colorado. This is a full-time, onsite day-shift position scheduled for 64 hours per two-week pay period. The technologist performs mammography procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Responsibilities Review patient history and physician orders and handle scheduling. Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. When ordered, prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice, continually monitor patient condition, and respond to changes in status. Assist physicians with interventional procedures, including fine needle aspiration and needle localization. Prepare equipment and supplies, select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters, implement safety standards, and perform quality control procedures. Troubleshoot, resolve, or report equipment malfunctions and help ensure compliance with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) regulations. Position patients, perform imaging, analyze results for quality, reposition and repeat when needed, and enter, transmit, and report scan results. The role calls for critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Mammography (M) by the ARRT, or ARRT (R) plus State Provisional Mammographer registration with ARRT (M) obtained within 12 months. BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with card in hand before start date and valid through sixty days of hire (renewals through the AHA). Compensation and Benefits $40.40 – $56.56 per hour, dependent on relevant experience. UCHealth offers a 3-Year Incentive Bonus, annual merit pay increases, and annual market reviews of base pay.
